THE PRICE OF ASBESTOS / 1

I was assigned by Wired (italian edition) to illustrate a long read article on the current situation of asbestos throughout Italy. I've been roaming from North to South to photograph what remains of some abandoned asbestos factories which are still waiting to be completely reclaimed and to meet the protagonists of the civil society who are fighting against this issue since years.

The investigation was conceived and written by Rosy Battaglia together with Guido Romeo, Davide Mancino and Gianluca De Martino.
